Hound / Mixed : : Female : : Adult : : Large
Hi. My name is Diamond. I am not quite sure what I am mixed with but
whatever it is I'm awfully cute, don't you think? I have very soft fur.
I used to live with a cat and an old man in a trailer park in North
Carolina, but they said I had to go and took me away to the pound. Even
though it wasn't very fun at the trailer park, being taken to the pound was
even worse and I just didn't know what was going to happen to me.
But somehow I was rescued. My foster mom saw a picture of me and knew I
needed help so she made a phone call and then some nice people drove me in a
car to Washington, DC. I love my foster mom and have even gotten used to
my two furry friends who are my mom's other two foster dogs.
My foster mom takes us to the park a lot. I like to run around in the woods
and go swimming. I know how to retrieve tennis balls and sticks from the
water! It is also fun to go for walks in the neighborhood. I'm also happy
to just sit inside and keep my people company.
My foster mom is sad that she can't keep me because she is going away soon,
and I need to find my forever family. She said we will find someone who
will keep me forever this time, so I don't have to keep worrying about what
will happen to me.
So, if you are looking for a really loyal and good dog to stick with through
thick and thin, then we'd like to meet you!
